Visa Requirements for Tourists and Business Travelers

NEWS ALERT!
As of 1/14/2010 all travelers requesting a Visa to India must also submit one of the following:
- copy of birth certificate

The Houston consulate is also requiring the Additional Information Form. Please fill in this form and sign.

Please send the following:

1. A valid passport.
2. Online Application.
3. 2 passport photos, color and 2" x 2". 
4. Copy of Driver's License.
5. For tourists applicants, copy of itinerary or airline tickets.
6. For business applicants, a business letter on your company's letterhead.
7. For business applicants, a Letter of Invitation.
8. Completed UPV Order Form.

Consulate Fees:
Multiple Entry / $73 Six Months / $253 Five Year & Ten Year*
Business Multiple Entry / $73 Six Months / $173 One Year / $253 Five Year & Ten Year*

* Your passport must have 2 side-by-side pages to qualify for five & ten year visas.

Non-Rush / $50 for 5-7 day processing
Rush / $100 for 3-4 day processing

1. Non-U.S. passport holders must send a copy of your green card or valid U.S. visa with valid I-94 card.
2. Fees and processing times for non-U.S. passport holders may vary from the published fees above.
3. Please include a Universal Passports & Visas order form to ensure proper handling of your visa request.
